The Wedding Vine have blogged an in depth article with Marguerite from Alan Hannah discussing her favourite gowns, inspirations, her own wedding to Alan and her forecasts for future trends.

When asked what dress she would choose if she were to marry Alan again, Marguerite had the following to say:

“If I were to marry Alan all over again now, I would choose Giovanni. It is the most beautiful full-skirted gown in slipper satin – perfect to accentuate curves. It’s ‘gentle ‘swish’ is so lovely; it’s a very special gown with a romantic feel. I would accessories this with lovely long pearls of different textures and sizes by my favourite jewellery designer Katzi and an exquisite tiara from the very talented Halo and Co.”

Amy Huberman marries in Stephanie Allin

Ireland rugby captain Brian O’Driscoll married actress and writer Amy Huberman in a beautiful country church in Ireland on the weekend. Amy choose a fabulous 50s-style gown by premier Welsh designer Stephanie Allin and went for a 50s-inspired half up, half do hairstyle and a short veil. Her brdiesmaids wore dusky pink which matched Amy’s simple bouquet. Amy chose to support her local Irish bridal boutique rather than buy the gown from Stephanie in London.

We love Amy’s natural but glamorous style, and the sweetheart neckline and belt emphasis her petite shape while the A-line skirt is full without overwhelming her.

We were delighted to spot Chloe by Sassi Holford in an American bridal magazine, Exquisite Weddings. We are so excited about our new Magpie Vintage accessories, which will be arriving in the autumn. It’s not just us at high Society who love these fabulous headpieces and jewellery, one of our favourite British bridal blogs Love my Dress is head over heels for them as well!
