This is a lovely interview with Suzanne Neville, who has always been one of our favourite designers at High Society. The interview is taken from the beautiful new blog by Marina Licht, former editor of Cosmopolitan Bride (who I guess must know a thing or two about weddings!) You can read the whole interview at Style and the Bride.According to acclaimed wedding dress and evening wear designer Suzanne Neville, a typical Suzanne Neville bride is ‘one that appreciates quality and knows how to flatter her figure’. Suzanne is renowned for creating beautifully constructed wedding gowns and evening dresses with signature-structured bodices. ‘My current ‘Diamond collection is very feminine with lots of floaty skirts and laces.’ she says. ‘I wanted to create lots of movement so used the softest fabrics I could find’…………… If Suzanne could design a dress for any celebrity, she says it would have to be actress Emily Blunt as she is ‘beautiful and has a great sense of style. ‘I also really enjoyed creating the wedding dresses for Danielle Linker and Kirsty Gallagher, they both went on to model for me afterwards,’ she says. ‘We have a few more celebrity brides coming up this year, so keep a look out!’ If you are unsure of where to start when it comes to looking for your wedding dress, Suzanne says it is imperative that you be ‘open minded and shop around. ‘It is important to go to a few different places and try lots of different silhouettes, you may well suprise yourself when it comes to the favourites, she explains.’ It is not something you do every time, so take your time and enjoy it.’ And as for Suzanne’s definition of style, she puts it very succinctly. ‘Style is understanding what makes you feel special and unique.’
