Sunday 14th October saw the unveiling of Jenny Packham’s 2013 Autumn Collection at New York Bridal Fashion Week. This season, Jenny Packham’s modern-vintage aesthetic was at its best.
Inspired by the leading ladies of Old Hollywood, the Fall 2013 collection combined ethereal chiffon, French lace, and antique metallic crystals into a series of iconic styles reminiscent of Vivienne Leigh and Bette Davis. Taking a cue from 1930s trends, shoulder details were particularly important to the designer’s lineup of wedding dresses, many of which featured sleeves embellished with lace, rhinestones, or both.
Here are a few of the gowns we particularly liked, and which will be with us very shortly. Ruby and Hyacinth are with us already, and they are even more beautiful in reality than we can begin to describe!
