‘Last Chance Harvey’ is a romantic comedy about “first loves, last chances and everything in between.” New Yorker Harvey Shine (Dustin Hoffman) is on the verge of losing his dead-end job when he flies to London to attend the wedding of his daughter (Liane Balaban, wearing Persia!), only to find out she doesn’t want him to walk her down the aisle and to be fired over the phone for missing his flight home.  Drowning his sorrows at the airport, he strikes up a conversation with Kate (Emma Thompson), whose life is limited to work, the occasional humiliating blind date and endless calls from her smothering mother. The growing connection between the pair inspires both as they unexpectedly transform each other’s lives.
