We’re just back from London viewing the new collections from Suzanne Neville, Alan Hannah, Stephanie Allin, and Sassi Holford. Here’s a quick overview of what Suzanne Neville had to offer.
As usual Suzanne’s dresses were out of this world! The styling and the finish of her dresses is absolutlely superb and breathtaking!
We were so excited as the first dresses came out, as usual the models were very beautiful, and every dress was perfectly presented. The first dress out was Lady, and trust me, there was a sharp intake of breath from everyone in the room. Such a stunning elegant dress, the most simple styling, no fuss, just the most beautifully cut dress I’ve ever seen! Off the shoulder, silk zibeline, box pleated skirt, very romantic!
Every new design was based on the height of simplicity, but lace was used extensively to add the finishing touches, along with the subtle use of beautiful coloured ribbon, as in the dress below, Stunning.
You can see from this picture of the models back stage the beautiful lace detailing at the back of so many of the dresses. I love the buttons down the back of the lace!
A long lace veil to finish the look!
I think this was our favourite overall, I heard lots of gasps from the crowds at this one! The back is totally open, but as usual Suzanne has been incredibly clever, and been able to design it with boning at the front, so that it’s like wearing a strapless dress with a bra but without a bra! Amazing and very beautiful! The long lace sleeves are lovely on this gown.
The 2013 Suzanne Neville Collection is stunning, and all the models deserve a round of applause for presenting them all so well! The nice thing about Suzanne Neville’s dresses is that we know that they look good on real life girls too!
