We are very excited to be attending the White Gallery exhibition this weekend. We will be previewing the new collections from our designers and seeing the best of British accessories, with catwalk shows. In the words of the organisers:

For the first time ever, the very finest international bridal wear designers will come together to stage what will be the most prestigious and authoritative event in the bridal buying calendar. White Gallery will be presented 23-25 May 2010, at the capital’s coolest art venue, the Saatchi Gallery in London, Chelsea. The world’s most exclusive wedding wear retailers and the international press will now have the opportunity to see the very best in bridal design at an elegant three-day show. Around 30 highly-respected design houses will be exhibiting at White Gallery London 2010.

Here’s what Marguerite from Alan Hannah had to say about their highly-anticipated 2011 collection:

I am so excited and inspired by the fact that the new dresses will showcase in our catwalk show at the White Gallery and have kept this in mind when creating the collection. Skirts are voluminous with long flowing trains and encrusted vintage style bodices. “Tea cup” skirts with hand painted roses are perfect for a really beautiful summer wedding.  Roses feature a lot in this collection adorning shoulders and skirts and caressing the silhouette. The soft romantic feel of the collection is emphasised by the use of organza and tulle. Elsewhere in the collection I will stay  true to our pure and clean styling where fabric, cut, and our “less is more” approach is prominent and the drama is created in the simple silhouette. Longer trains and beautiful but simple embellishment will create the romantic twist. I can honestly say that designing in the spring with its warmth and colour has given me such joy and I feel that I am on a never ending road of ideas. I hope everyone who comes to the show enjoys seeing the dresses as much as I have enjoyed designing them”.
